Mourning Band

Long has it been tradition for officers and firemen to mourn the loss of the fallen by placing a black ribbon around their badge. With the new modern era of velcro badges and sewn on badges, it has become difficult if not impossible to professionally display your mourning band. Do away with the black electrical tape and invest in a mourning band designed speciffically for your badge.

Elastic bands-The traditional elastic bands are still available for your metal badges, available in three widths, 3/8, 1/2, and 3/4 inches.

Velcro bands-Velcro badges are becoming more common these days as more and more officers and agents are wearing tactical outer vest carriers. The issue with wearing an elastic band on a velcro badge, is that the elastic curls the badge as it is wrapped around it. Our in-house designed velcro band uses 5/8 inch wide grossgrain ribbon with tabs of fuzzy/loop velcro on either end to secure to the hook portion on the back of the badge patch, thus providing a no-pull band around the badge.

Please match the size!!!!-Please measure the width of the badge. This is important in order to get the right fit and not have the band overhanging the edges. These are not generic off the shelf bands, but custom fit for YOUR badge. Military Police
