Per Coast Guard guidance: A rectangle style “flight badge”.
1) Maximum patch dimensions of approximately 4 inches wide by 2.5 inches tall.
2) Patch color matching the carrier.
3) Shortened wearer rank and rate in top left-hand corner of the patch (for example, “ME1” for Maritime Enforcement Specialist, First Class).
4) Wearer last name in top right-hand corner.
5) “USCG” above “PSU 3XX” in bottom left-hand corner.
6) Wearer PSU division and/or blood type in bottom right-hand corner.
7) Wearer subdued qualification insignia in the center. For members without a qualification insignia, a subdued rank device or the Coast Guard emblem may be worn, centered.


The layout will be adjusted to meet the above requirements based on selections made, i.e. blood type will be lowered to the corner if no division name is given.
